The Resurgence of DC’s The Sandman Universe: ‘Nightmare Country’ Comic Book Series Continues with ‘The Glass House’

1 Mins read

James Tynion IV, a renowned horror writer (Something Is Killing The Children, The Nice House On The Lake) had his eye on The Sandman during his early career, biding his time to pay tribute to Neil Gaiman’s mythos—and now he’s launching the second cycle of his DC The Sandman Universe : Nightmare Country The comics series! With gorgeous, lush art from Redneck‘s Lisandro Estherren, The Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country – The Glass House welcomes new readers into one of the greatest, and most terrifying, worlds in DC’s library.

The first issue of The Glass House, launching on Tuesday April 11, The Corinthian has been turned loose on our realm once more, and this time he sets his sights on the very root of rapacious American capitalism—Silicon Valley. His relentless pursuit will carve out a bloody pathway from the C suite of Prophet Capital down to the depths of a demon nightclub. No one is safe from his reach. Ken, who has been living in the Bay Area ever since he parted ways with Barbie so many years ago, is not to be trusted. Max, a nervous and ambitious hedge fund manager who has never really fit anywhere. No one.

“The Corinthian will go head-to-head with Angels, Demons, and a breed of creature far more terrifying that anything he’s faced before—Venture Capitalists” said Tynion. “Lisandro, and I are excited to continue this nightmare journey through modern America. We can’t wait to show you what we have in store for you.”

The Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country – The Glass House, On April 11, 2023, James Tynion III, the Eisner Award-winning writer, will team up with horror superstar Lisandro Esteherren to bring the nightmare-fueled sequel you’ve been waiting for. A tale that will explore the bottomless depths in our desire for more at heart of the American dream. Look for it in your local comic book shop beginning April 11.
